Vera Lenskaya

Soloist

Born in Moscow. Vera graduated from Moscow state academy of Choreography in 2013 (class of professor O. Sharoyko).

She started her career working with Russian National Ballet Theatre (2013-2014). From 2014 to 2017 Vera was a soloist with “Moscow Ballet” under direction of Timur Fayziev.

Her repertoire includes:

Lilac Fairy, Precious stones – “Sleeping Beauty” (M. Petipa)

Queen of Dryads, Kitri’s Friends – “Don Quixote” (A. Gorsky)

Mazurka – “Les Sylphides” (M. Fokine)

Two willis, Giselle friends – “Giselle” (J. Perrot, J. Coralli)

Pas-de-trois, Polish bride – “Swan Lake” (V.Burmeister, L.Ivanov)

Tobacco girls – “Carmen” (A. Alonso)

Nutcracker pas-de-deux (V. Vainonen)

Pas-d’esclave – “Le Corsaire”(M. Petipa)

In 2017/2018 season she’s been a soloist with Estonian National Ballet, performing roles in contemporary and classical productions such as “Medea”, “Modigliani”, “Giselle”, “Nutcracker”. During her career Vera has been working with many famous ballet masters and choreographers: Sophie Sarrote, Gianluca Sciavone (Teatro alla Scala), Tiit Helimets (San Francisco ballet), Alan Land (Het National Ballet).

Vera has been performing on tours in Australia, China, Mexico, Spain, Norway, Ireland, Germany.
